Nancy's legal career began with a clerkship under District Court Judge Lee A. Gates, where she was instrumental in establishing the moderate offender's program at the Las Vegas Justice Court. With over 15 years of experience in private practice, including roles in criminal defense and civil litigation, Nancy's comprehensive understanding of both criminal and civil justice systems is unparalleled.

Her early experiences include an internship at the DA's office and a co-chair position in a pivotal multi-defendant trial, which concluded with convictions for kidnapping and robbery, bringing justice to the victims involved. Nancy also has strong ties to the military and law enforcement through family members, enhancing her perspective on justice and community service.

Nancy's commitment to justice has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Pillar of Justice Award and the Mexican Patriotic Civic Community Award. Additionally, her contribution to mental health policy as a board member of the National NAMI during Governor Kenny Guinn's tenure was significant, especially in the development of mental health hospitals in Southern Nevada.

Moreover, Nancy has dedicated hundreds of hours to the Southern Nevada Legal Aid’s Children Attorney Project, making impacts up to the Nevada Supreme Court. As a mother of three, Nancy's personal life reflects her professional values with her children thriving in their respective fields, echoing the family’s commitment to service and community.

Currently, Nancy continues her legal journey at the Richard Harris Law Firm, where she has risen through the ranks from Legal Assistant to Attorney.
