I’m excited to officially announce that North Las Vegas City Councilman Isaac Barron is running for Nevada State Senate, District 2.

Isaac Barron has spent his life serving our community — first as a retired 30-year educator, and for the past decade as a North Las Vegas City Councilman (since 2013), helping lead the city through one of the most significant revitalization efforts in Southern Nevada.

As a member of the North Las Vegas City Council, Isaac Barron has helped deliver real progress, including:

• Revitalization of Downtown North Las Vegas

• Establishment of a Nevada State University campus

• Support for working families through the Dolores Huerta Resource Center
