Growing up as the daughter of a police officer and a secretary, Judge Cruz has been immersed in the realities of our community from an early age. Her academic and professional journey reflects her deep commitment to justice and excellence. From graduating Bonanza High School to earning her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, Judge Cruz has always been driven by a passion to serve.

Since taking her oath as a judge, she has presided over numerous cases spanning criminal and civil law, consistently demonstrating her expertise and fairness. Her role as the Chief Judge of the Las Vegas Justice Court and her leadership in various committees illustrate her commitment to enhancing our judicial system. Under her leadership, the court has seen significant advancements in technology and operations, ensuring efficiency and accessibility for all.

Having such experienced judges on the bench is crucial for Las Vegas.
